Ban Bajrang Dal and VHP…

Do You Know?

Put A BAN On Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP)

The Bajrang Dal a Hindu organization in India, is the youth wing of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and is based on the ideology of Hindutva. Founded on October 1, 1984 in Uttar Pradesh, India, it has since spread throughout India. The group claims to have 1,300,000 members, of whom 850,000 are workers, and runs about 2,500 akhadas.

The Bajrang Dal’s slogan is “service, safety, and culture.” An integral part of its agenda is preventing the slaughter of cows. Other goals include protecting India’s Hindu identity from the perceived dangers of communism, Muslim demographic growth and Christian conversion.

Bajrang Dal is a religious extremist terrorist outfit that often gets into various activities such as moral policing (particularly on Valentine days), rioting, killing and burning Christians, their houses and churches. In the early days, they and their supporters used to deny their crime charges as Christian conspiracy or “it was not us, but the Hindus in general retaliating“. But ever since their political supporters (BJP) have formed the Government in the Indian states of Karnataka and Orissa, they have come out in public and claimed before the TV cameras that they have done it and they will do it again.

Kanpur(24 Aug ’08): A powerful explosion killed two Hindutva terrorists in a mixed colony of Kanpur. The powerful explosion destroyed the door and walls of the room where it occurred on Sunday.

Rajiv alias Piyush Mishra (25) and Bhupinder Singh (32) are among the dead, they both are reported to be Bajrang Dal core members. Bhupinder was Bajrang Dal’s city chief 10 years ago and according to Hindi daily Hindustan Piyush was present in RSS’s morning shakha the day of the blast, quoting a Sangh activist Surendra Mishra.

Police found eleven live bombs, and enough material to make nine additional bombs, seven timer devices, and batteries. Ammonium nitrate and potassium nitrate was also recovered from there.

The explosion occurred at a hostel in Kalyanpur area of Kanpur, about 80 km from Lucknow. Piyush Mishra is the son of SS Mishra who own this hostel.

Deeds of Bajrang Dal

  • The Bajrang Dal, formed in 1984, played a big role in the events leading to the demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya in December 1992, which led to widespread Hindu-Muslim violence in the country.
  • According to the Human Rights Watch, Bajrang Dal had been involved in riots against Muslims in the 2002 Gujarat violence.

A mass grave in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in which sixty-one bodies — thirty-four of women and twenty-seven of children — are buried. Since February 27, 2002, more than 850 people have been killed in communal violence in the state of Gujarat, most of them Muslims. Unofficial estimates put the death toll as high as 2,000. The attacks against Muslims in Gujarat have been actively supported by state government officials and by the police. Police told Muslims, "WE DON'T HAVE ANY ORDERS TO SAVE YOU."

  • In April 2006, two Bajrang Dal activists were killed in nearby Nanded in the process of bomb making. The same group of activists were also suspected for perpetrating the 2003 Parbhani Mosque blasts. Those arrested later told interrogators they wanted to avenge several blasts across the country. NDTV subsequently accused the police of a coverup in Nandhed. A report by the Secular Citizen’s Forum & PUCL, Nagpur claimed to have found maps of mosques at the home of one of the deceased.
  • The VHP leader, Praveen Togadia, was arrested in April 2003 after distributing tridents to Bajrang Dal activists in Ajmer defying ban and prohibitory orders. Togadia asserted that the coming Assembly polls in the Indian state of Rajasthan would be fought on the issue of tridents and attacked the ruling Congress Party for “placating” Muslims for electoral gains. He expressed satisfaction at the publicity received due to the incident.

  • The Bajrang Dal has been accused of not allowing Muslims to own land in parts of Gujarat by attacking traders who sell to Muslims and by attacking Muslim homes and forcing the sale of the house or flat. This creates a ghettoisation of large cities in Gujarat, like Ahmedabad and Vadodara.
  • On several occasions, acting as “Social Police” the activists of Bajrang Dal have caught un-married couples on Valentines day and forced them to apply sindoor or tie rakhis against their wishes. The activists of Bajrang Dal have often indulged in violence, invading gift shops and restaurants and threatening couples on Valentines day.
  • The Bajrang Dal has also been involved in bomb making accidents on August 6, 2006 in Nanded, and on August 24, 2008 in Kanpur.
  • In September 2008, a fresh wave of attacks directed against the Newlife Christian churches and prayer halls in Karnataka by the Bajrang Dal, as a protest against defaming hindu gods and against religious conversion carried on by the Newlife Missionaries. Later, Mahendra Kumar, the convener of Bajrang Dal was arrested in connection with it even after he publicly announced that they are not reponsible for the attacks, after the Center had strongly criticized the state Government. In addition, the National Commission for Minorities has also blamed them for the religious violence in BJP-ruled states of Karnataka and Orissa. However, some police reports claim that the Bajrang Dal was not involved and that the attacks were carried out by splinter groups. However, testimonies of Bajrang Dal activists show exactly the opposite, as they described the attacks and openly warned of more violence.

Christians wanting to return to their homes have been told by the HINDU EXTREMISTS:

  • Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.
  • Minister for Steel Ram Vilas Paswan
  • Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar
  • Members of the Samajwadi Party
  • The Indian National Congress, Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati have demanded a ban on Bajrang Dal and Sri Rama Sena. In this regard, Deve Gowda sent a letter to prime minister and accused Bajrang Dal “for perpetrating senseless violence” against minorities in Karnataka and Orissa.
  • Wakf and Minorities Welfare Minister Mumtaz Ali Khan has urged the government to ban any organisation, including Bajrang Dal, if found to be involved in anti-national activities disturbing communal harmony.
  • Former Karnataka Chief Minister Veerappa Moily told that the party is in favour of banning the right-wing Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). “The Bajrang Dal deserves to be banned. They have earned this image for themselves. The terrorists hide and do it, Bajrang Dal do it openly,” He also said that the activities of the saffron outfit are more pronounced in the BJP-ruled states and alleged that these state governments were collaborating with the Bajrang Dal rather than checking their activities. “The BJP-ruled states think that the Bajrang Dal is an oxygen for their survival. This is very unfortunate,” Moily said while attacking the outfit for its role in anti-Christian violence in some parts of the country.“In the case of Bajrang Dal, we find that the BJP-ruled states have not recommended the ban. This means they are collaborating with the organisation,” he said.

  • The National Minorities Commission has recommended a ban on the Bajrang Dal for its alleged role in the attacks on churches in Karnataka and Orissa. The Commission is working towards a unanimous decision seeking tough measures against the Bajrang Dal as its involvement in “frequent attacks on the minorities and their places of worship across the country has been established beyond doubt”. “Despite repeated assurances from top state officials, the attacks on churches and Christians are continuing in Karnataka. It shows the state government(BJP) is not serious in reining in the elements responsible for pre-planned attacks,” commission vice-chairman Michael P. Pinto said.
  • The Communist Party of India (Marxist) said that it had urged the Union Home Ministry to put the Bajrang Dal and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad on the watch list of organisations indulging in terrorist-like activities and take the “severest action.”
  • The monthly magazine Communalism Combat started by civil rights activist Teesta Setalvad demanded an immediate ban on the Bajrang Dal in August 2008.
  • Leader of the Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) Ramchandra Paswan describing the Bajrang Dal as communal organization said, “Bajrang Dal and VHP should immediately be banned.”

Bajrang Dal Dares Government to BAN it…

The Bajrang Dal, the youth wing of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), has dared the Indian government to ban it, warning that the authorities would face the ‘consequences’ if it was outlawed.

‘We will fight the ban and we will go to the people to explain the injustice done to us. The elections are coming up soon and it (a ban) will prove costly for the government,’ Prakash Sharma, national convenor of the Bajrang Dal, told…

The Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has decided to call a special cabinet meeting to discuss a possible ban on the Bajrang Dal and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad over the continuing attacks on Christians and its institutions in Orissa and Karnataka.

Lalu At His Best..He Spoke For 30 Mins In The Parliament…

His 30 Minutes Speech Is Divided In 3 Videos…

New Delhi, July 22: Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was at his witty best as he rose to support the motion of confidence moved by the Prime Minister. Quoting Mahabharata, he gave the example of the demon that had got the boon that that he could not be killed in night nor in day and drew parallel by saying, “The same way the trust vote will happen at 6 pm – the time is nor day nor night – and all those who oppose the vote will be admonished.”

In the same vein he turned his attention to the pertinent nuke deal issue. “Everybody is talking outside the Parliament that the MPs don’t understand what nuke deal is, they are being humiliated. But at the same time some leaders (Left) are now in depression. That leader is very old and not very relevant as he comes from another age. But he should at least listen to the veterans in his party.”

He also took the opportunity to congratulate the PM and Sonia Gandhi for setting up the Coordination Committee with the Left. “I am a bonafide member too,” he added amid giggles from an amused House.

On his ever stronger relations with the Congress he quoted from the popular Bollywood number ‘Char Saal Pehle Hame Tumse Pyar Tha, Aajj Bhi Hain Aur Kal Bhi Rahega’

While at his candid best, he touched upon the reports that Mayawati is cultivating her wish to be the PM. Lalu triggered another bout of glees by announcing, “Everybody wants to be PM, I also want to be a PM, but I am not in a hurry.”

On the Hyde Act, he took a dig at all those who continue to say that they don’t understand what the Act is all about and also on those who always blabber that they don’t understand the 123 Agreement by stressing, “Here a lot of think tanks are sitting and they also know that it’s called 123 because it has been named 123 Agreement. And Hyde Act is not binding as the US Prez has got authority to overrule it.”

Amid hullabaloo from the Opposition he started again and this time in a serious tone said no one in this country allows a Dalit or a minority or even a Lalu to become the PM.

“If Mayawati wants to be PM what’s wrong? We all want to be one-day. Our PM is an exception (being a Sikh) and brought home the point by the verses Wahe Guru Ki Jai Wahe Guru Ki Fatah.”

Attacking the Left further, he said “I understand that the Left is against the Congress in three states. That is their disease that they are pitted against Congress in Kolkata and in Kerala. They (Left) used to say when the time for elections will come we will withdraw; now I wonder what face they will show to the nation.”

He even questioned Somnath by adding, “Speaker sir, you and Jyoti Basu have to answer (to the country) regarding the conduct of the Left.”

Then training his guns on the NDA, especially the BJP, he congratulated himself for being instrumental in bringing about a change during the Jan Sangh days by ensuring that Morarji Desai was made the PM and also prided for the fact that it was he who arrested Advani along with his Rath Yatra.

“They (NDA) say America will come in as the East India Company came. But when we asked them to condemn the Iraq War, they never did that. It was we who coined the slogan then ‘Remove Bush and save world, remove BJP and save India’ We even asked them to condemn America but they didn’t listen.”

Rebutting Advani’s speech of Monday, he said, “Advani spoke but he did not utter a word against America, he only had a communal agenda.”

“We are here to join the nation and the BJP is dividing the nation. How could they take credit of Pokhran I, but they did that and sadly also brought about sanctions,” added Lalu.

His antics didn’t end there as he brought out Jaswant Singh’s book and read out the lines that mention the then government’s inclination towards signing CTBT.

Chiding former Defence Minister George Fernandes he said, “Where were you George Sahib, you taught me and Mulayam the lessons in socialism. And now why are you sitting there?

Lalu in his elemental best becomes a strong speaker and that was in full evidence today as he then trained his guns at senior Left leader Gurudas Das Gupta and rebuked him saying, “You say we need roti. But from where will roti come Guptaji? It will not come from heaven; it will only come from infrastructure development, something on which the UPA is focusing.” on it.”

Dismissing hydel power as a viable alternative, he said most projects are blocked by NGOs and activists like Bhauguna and Patkar stands up against it.

But a moment later, he struck conciliatory note with the veteran Left leader, amid a mini laugh riot, by saying, “We will continue to court you Guptaji” and went on sing the popular number Oo Door Ke Musafir Aa Jaao. “But you will not be able to answer the nation. We thank you for your support but now it’s null and void.” he added.

On Advani’s claim that they will re-negotiate the deal if the NDA comes to power and on his claims that they are against terrorism he said, “They talk about Afzal Guru, but who freed Maulana Masood and went to the extent of escorting him to Afghanistan. They speak of terrorism but they forget about Babri Masjid, and Gujarat violence.”

Seconding Mulayam’s statement he added, “He was right when he said that the Left now wants to demolish the Lal Quila after Babri Masjid by going with the BJP. The Left ideology is not Indian- it’s alien. Our ideology is Gandhi’s ideology.”

Self congratulating he claimed, “We (UPA) are patriots. The provisions of 123 ensures that we can take uranium from any of the 45 countries. There is also a provision to stop it if something goes wrong and there is also a provision to come out of the deal if the need arises.”

Lalu in his trademark style termed it as “divorce” and started a fresh round of giggles by singing ‘Tum Na Agar Mujhe Chaho To Koi Baat Nahi, Par Tum Ksisi Aur Ko Chahoge to Muskil Hogi’

On the BSP’s claims that Mayawati is being targeted by the CBI, he said “Even I have CBI cases against me. But I challenge anyone to say that we have taken any favours. CBI is probing me & Rabri but I thank the PM and Sonia for not siding with any sort of foul play.”

“If there’s a case on Maya then it might be right, there’s a fashion in politics; that people start to complain that the govt is implicating them when they run out of options.”

The PM and Sonia have sacrificed a lot for the nation added, Lalu added. Turning tables on BJP, he said “We started the debate on Monday – the day of Shiva – so who is the bakht of Shiva. Now today is Tuesday the day of Hanuman, we will use his Gada.”

A Shameful Day In The INDIAN HISTORY…

Date : 22 JULY 2008

L K Advani said “In my parliamentary career, I have never come across such a sad situation where MPs were offered money to abstain from voting (in the confidence vote).” Terming it a very unfortunate episode in the parliamentary democracy of the country, he demanded “a proper inquiry” into the incident. He also said that they have proof that the 3 MPs were given bribe. He said the tape which has the proof recored is with the leading news channel which has recored it. And the news channel has said that they will sent the tape to the speaker.

However, the Congress and the Samajwadi Party have termed the incident as a thought out game of the BJP. RJD supremo and Railway Minister Laloo Yadav said, “This (showing money in the House) is a ploy of the BJP.” Amar Singh also challenged Adavni and the BJP to prove the allegations. Terming the concerned MPs as “political prostitute”, he said, “Is it (Rs 3 crores) the price of the BJP MPs when there are rumours and claims that smaller parties’ MPs are being offered 30-40 crores of Rupees.”

Union Science and Technology Minister Kapil Sibal too demanded an investigation into the allegations by the BJP members. “The matter (of cash being brought into the House) needs to be investigated into,” he said, soon after Lok Sabha was adjournment till 6 pm following the BJP MPs placing bundles of currency notes in the well of the House and alleging they were bribed.

“BJP wanted to disrupt the proceedings. So they came up with these allegations that its MPs were bribed by a SP leader,” senior Congress leader Jayanti Natarajan said.

The BJP and BSP knew that the UPA is going to win the TRUST VOTE, so they planted a drama to destroy the image of the UPA Congress Government.. 3 BJP MPs brought 1 Crore cash into the central well of Lok Sabha and kept it in the table of the deputy speaker and started empting it saying they were offered those money to abstain from voting by SP members. The 3 MPs included in this “money for vote” operation was Ashok Argal, Mahavir Bhagora, and Faggan Singh Kulaste.

I am a Muslim and I am a Indian and I don’t see any distinction between the two. I see no reason why I as a Muslim have to fear a deal between INDIA and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA this is a deal between two countries, it is a deal between we hope two countries that in the future will be two equals. Sir the enemies of Indian Muslims are not the Americans, the enemies of Indian Muslims are not deals like this, the enemies of Indian muslims are the same enemies that all the poor people of India face poverty, hunger, unemployment, lack of development and the ABSENCE OF OUR VOICE. It is that the we are against. The effort that is made to crush our voice.

Sir I am not the member of the UPA, I do not aspire the membership of the UPA but Sir I am extreamly unhappy with the way in which my friends in the LEFT have taken on the self impose position of being the certifiers of who is secular and who is not. Sir until a few years ago I was a part of this NDA, I was a minister with them and these same LEFT people considered me as a political untouchable. They considered me a outcast because i was the part of the NDA. Today these same LEFT people are telling me all secular parties must unite with the BJP to bring down this GOVERNMENT. Sir I made the mistake of standing with them once on the question of GUJRAT I did not resign when my conscious told me too and my conscious has till not forgiven me. I will not make the same mistake again.

Aapne amarnath ka aarop lagaya aap ek jaaga dikhaye jaha kisi Kashmiri ne yatra ke khilaf baat ki ho, aap ek jaaga dikhaye jaha kisi Kashmiri ne kaha ho humhe yatri nahi chahiye, ek jaga dikhaye jaha pe yatriyo ke uppar humla hua ho, hamari zameen ka mudda tha hum apne zameen ke liye lare aur marte dum tak apne zameen ke liye larenge. Lekin hum aapki tarha firkaparast nahi hai, hum aapki tarha communal nahi hai, hum Masjid nahi girate hum Mandir bhi nahi girate, eksoo saal se bhi zaada amarnath ki yatra waha chalti aai aur jab tak Kashmir mai musalmaan hai srinagar aur amarnath mai aapki yatra chalti rahaigi. Lakin yeh baat mai daawe se kahena chahata hu ke inlogo ki tarha meri siyasat badalti nahi hai, aaj iss taraf kal uss taraf, humne secular forces ke saath haath milaya hai aur milate rahenge. Jammu Kashmir National Conference will vote to support the motion moved by the Prime Minister..
